तमु॒क्षमा॑णं॒ रज॑सि॒ स्व आ दमे॑ च॒न्द्रमि॑व सु॒रुचं॑ ह्वा॒र आ द॑धुः । पृश्न्याः॑ पत॒रं चि॒तय॑न्तम॒क्षभिः॑ पा॒थो न पा॒युं जन॑सी उ॒भे अनु॑ ॥ (४)

आकाश की जलवर्षा से धरती को सींचने वाले, स्वर्ण के समान चमकीले, आकाशगामी, अपनी ज्चालाओं से लोगों को चैतन्य करने वाले, जल के समान पालनकर्ता, सबके जनक एवं धरती-आकाश को व्याप्त करने वाले अग्नि को जनरहित यज्ञशाला में धारण किया गया है. (४)
