स होता॒ विश्वं॒ परि॑ भूत्वध्व॒रं तमु॑ ह॒व्यैर्मनु॑ष ऋञ्जते गि॒रा । हि॒रि॒शि॒प्रो वृ॑धसा॒नासु॒ जर्भु॑र॒द्द्यौर्न स्तृभि॑श्चितय॒द्रोद॑सी॒ अनु॑ ॥ (५)

वे होम पूर्ण करने वाले अग्नि समस्त यज्ञों को चारों ओर से व्याप्त करें. मनुष्य हव्य और स्तुतियों द्वारा उसी अग्नि को सुशोभित करते हैं. जिस प्रकार तारागण आकाश को प्रकाशित करते हैं, उसी प्रकार दीप्त शिखाओं वाले अग्नि बढ़ती हुई ओषधियों में बार-बार जलकर धरती और आकाश के मध्य भाग को प्रकाशित करते हैं. Let the agni that completes the home spread all the yagnas from all around. Humans adorn the same agni through greetings and praises. Just as the stars illuminate the sky, so the agnis with bright peaks burn repeatedly in the rising herbs and illuminate the middle part of the earth and the sky. (5)
