स इ॑धा॒न उ॒षसो॒ राम्या॒ अनु॒ स्व१॒॑र्ण दी॑देदरु॒षेण॑ भा॒नुना॑ । होत्रा॑भिर॒ग्निर्मनु॑षः स्वध्व॒रो राजा॑ वि॒शामति॑थि॒श्चारु॑रा॒यवे॑ ॥ (८)

अग्नि रमणीय उषाकाल में जलते हैं और अपनी उज्ज्वल किरणों से सूर्य के समान चमकते हैं. वे अग्नि होता की यज्ञ साधनरूप स्तुतियों के आधार, उत्तम यज्ञ वाले, प्रजाओं के स्वामी होकर यजमान के पास इस प्रकार आते हैं, जैसे प्यारा अतिथि आता है. (८)

The agni burns in the delightful ushering period and shines like the sun with its bright rays. They would have been agni that the yajna would be the basis of the hymns as the instrument, the best of the yajna, the masters of the people, come to the host as if the beloved guest comes. (8)
