त्रीण्यायूं॑षि॒ तव॑ जातवेदस्ति॒स्र आ॒जानी॑रु॒षस॑स्ते अग्ने । ताभि॑र्दे॒वाना॒मवो॑ यक्षि वि॒द्वानथा॑ भव॒ यज॑मानाय॒ शं योः ॥ (३)

हे जातवेद अग्नि! तुम्हारा अन्न तीन प्रकार का है तथा तीन प्रकार की उषाएं तुम्हारी माता हैं. तुम उनके साथ मिलकर देवों को हव्य दो. हे विद्वान्‌ अग्नि! तुम यजमान के सुख और कल्याण के कारण बनो. (३)
