अ॒स्य वा॒मस्य॑ पलि॒तस्य॒ होतु॒स्तस्य॒ भ्राता॑ मध्य॒मो अ॒स्त्यश्नः॑ । तृ॒तीयो॒ भ्राता॑ घृ॒तपृ॑ष्ठो अ॒स्यात्रा॑पश्यं वि॒श्पतिं॑ स॒प्तपु॑त्रम् ॥ (१)

आरोग्य प्राप्ति के लिए सबके द्वारा सेवनीय व जगत्पालक सूर्य के बीच वाले भाई वायु हैं. इसके तीसरे भाई आहुति स्वीकार करने वाले अग्नि हैं. इन भाइयों के बीच में किरणरूपी सात पुत्रों सहित विश्वपति दिखाई देते हैं. (१)
