ता वा॑म॒द्य ताव॑प॒रं हु॑वेमो॒च्छन्त्या॑मु॒षसि॒ वह्नि॑रु॒क्थैः । नास॑त्या॒ कुह॑ चि॒त्सन्ता॑व॒र्यो दि॒वो नपा॑ता सु॒दास्त॑राय ॥ (१)

जब उषा अंधकार का नाश करती है, तब आज के आगामी दिनों के यज्ञों में हम होता स्तुतियों द्वारा तुम्हें बुलाते हैं. हे असत्यरहित एवं स्वर्ग के नेता अश्चिनीकुमारो! तुम जहां भी रहो, मैं उत्तम दान देने वाले यजमान के कल्याण के लिए तुम्हें बुलाता हूं. (१)

When Usha destroys the darkness, in the yagnas of today's coming days, we call you by the praises. O untruthless and the leader of heaven, Aschinikumaro! Wherever you are, I call you for the welfare of the best-giving host. (1)
