ए॒षो उ॒षा अपू॑र्व्या॒ व्यु॑च्छति प्रि॒या दि॒वः । स्तु॒षे वा॑मश्विना बृ॒हत् ॥ (१)

यह प्रिय उषा मध्य रात्रि आदि पूर्व कालों में वर्तमान नहीं थी. यह इसी समय आकाश से आकर अंधकार मिटाती है. हे अश्विनीकुमारो! मैं तुम्हारी बहुत स्तुति करता हूं. (१)
