एक॑चक्रं वर्तत॒ एक॑नेमि स॒हस्रा॑क्षरं॒ प्र पु॒रो नि प॑श्चा । अ॒र्धेन॒ विश्वं॒ भुव॑नं ज॒जान॒ यद॑स्या॒र्धं क्व तद्ब॑भूव ॥ (७)

बीच की नाभि वाला एक पहिया है. इस में आगेपीछे से हजार अरे लगे हुए हैं. यह पहिया लगातार चल रहा है. इस के आधे भाग से संसार उत्पन्न हुआ है तथा इस का शेष भाग कहां है? सूर्य ही एक नाभि वाला एक पहिया है. उस की हजार किरणें हजार अरे हैं. दिन उस का आधा भाग है, जिस के कारण संसार गतिशील रहता है. शेष आधा भाग अर्थात्‌ रात्रि में वह सूर्य न जाने कहां चला जाता है? There is a wheel with a middle navel. There are thousands of aries in front of it. This wheel is constantly running. Half of this has created the world and where is the rest of it? The sun is a wheel with an navel. His thousand rays are thousands. The day is half of that, due to which the world remains moving. Where does the sun go in the remaining half i.e. at night? (7)
