त्रे॒धा भा॒गो निहि॑तो॒ यः पु॒रा वो॑ दे॒वानां॑ पितॄ॒णां मर्त्या॑नाम् । अंशा॑ञ्जानीध्वं॒ वि भ॑जामि॒ तान्वो॒ यो दे॒वानां॒ स इ॒मां पा॑रयाति ॥ (५)

तुम्हारे लिए अर्थात्‌ अग्नि आदि देवों के लिए, पितरों के लिए और मनुष्यों के लिए पहले जो भाग तीन से विभाजित किए गए हैं, हे देव! पितर एवं मनुष्य! उन भागों को जानो. मैं तुम्हारे लिए उन भागों को अलगअलग करता हूं. उन में देवों का जो भाग है, वह अग्नि में हि के रूप में हवन किया जा रहा है. वह देव भाग इस यजमान पत्नी को इष्ट फल प्रदान करे. (५)

For you, that is, for the gods of agni, for the ancestors and for the human beings, the parts which have been divided by three, O God! Father and man! Know those parts. I separate those parts for you. The part of the gods in them is being performed in the form of a havan in the agni. May that god part give favored results to this host wife. (5)
