अस्त्रा॒ नील॑शिखण्डेन सहस्रा॒क्षेण॑ वा॒जिना॑ । रु॒द्रेणा॑र्धकघा॒तिना॒ तेन॒ मा सम॑रामहि ॥ (७)

हम अस्त्र फेंकने वाले, नीले रंग के शिखंड अर्थात्‌ मोर के पंखों से युक्त, हजार आंखों वाले, वेगशाली एवं सेना के आधे भाग का वध करने वाले रुद्र के द्वारा दुःखी न हों. (७)
