इ॒यं स॒मित्पृ॑थि॒वी द्यौर्द्वि॒तीयो॒तान्तरि॑क्षं स॒मिधा॑ पृणाति । ब्र॑ह्मचा॒री स॒मिधा॒ मेख॑लया॒ श्रमे॑ण लो॒कांस्तप॑सा पिपर्ति ॥ (४)

यह पृथ्वी ब्रह्मचारी की पहली समिधा है. ह्युलोक अर्थात्‌ स्वर्ग ब्रह्मचारी की दूसरी समिधा है. ब्रह्मचारी स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी के मध्य अर्थात्‌ अंतरिक्ष को अग्नि में डाली गई समिधा के द्वारा पूर्ण करता है. इस प्रकार ब्रह्मचारी समिधा, मेखला, श्रम और तप के द्वारा लोकों को पूर्ण करता है अर्थात्‌ भर देता है. This is the first samidha of prithvi brahmachari. Hulok i.e. heaven is the second samidha of Brahmachari. Brahmachari completes the space between heaven and earth, that is, by the samidha inserted into the agni. In this way, Brahmachari completes the worlds through samidha, mekhala, labor and penance, that is, fills it. (4)
