ब्र॑ह्मचा॒र्येति स॒मिधा॒ समि॑द्धः॒ कार्ष्णं॒ वसा॑नो दीक्षि॒तो दी॒र्घश्म॑श्रुः । स स॒द्य ए॑ति॒ पूर्व॑स्मा॒दुत्त॑रं समु॒द्रं लो॒कान्त्सं॒गृभ्य॒ मुहु॑रा॒चरि॑क्रत् ॥ (६)

समिधा से उत्पन्न तेज को धारण करता हुआ, नियमों के द्वारा वश में किया गया, लंबी दाढ़ी वाला ब्रह्मचारी पूर्व सागर से उत्तर सागर की ओर गया. उस ने पृथ्वी, अंतरिक्ष आदि लोकों को वश में कर के अपने अभिमुख किया. (६)
