उद्व॑ ऊ॒र्मिःशम्या॑ ह॒न्त्वापो॒ योक्त्रा॑णि मुञ्चत । मादु॑ष्कृतौ॒व्येनसाव॒घ्न्यावशु॑न॒मार॑ताम् ॥ (१६)

Hindi

हे जलो! अपने कर्म की तरंगों को शांत करो तथा लगामों को ढीला करो. श्रेष्ठ कर्म करने वाले तथा न मारने योग्य वाहन अशुभ न करने लगें. (१६)

English

O burn! Calm the waves of your karma and loosen the reins. Vehicles that do good deeds and do not kill should not start doing inauspicious. (16)
