वार्षि॑कौ॒ मासौ॑गो॒प्तारा॒वकु॑र्वन्वैरू॒पं च॑ वैरा॒जं चा॑नुष्ठा॒तारौ॑ ॥ (८)

देवताओं ने पश्चिम दिशा में वर्षा ऋतु के दो महीनों को उस का रक्षक नियुक्त किया तथा वैरूप और वैराज को उस का अनुष्ठान करने वाला नियुक्त किया. (८)

The gods appointed two months of the rainy season in the west direction as its protector and appointed Vairupa and Vairaja as its ritualists. (8)
