अ॑स्तंय॒ते नमो॑ऽस्तमेष्य॒ते नमो॑ऽस्तमिताय॒ नमः॑ । वि॒राजे॒ नमः॑ स्व॒राजे॒ नमः॑ स॒म्राजे॒नमः॑ ॥ (२३)

अस्त होने वाले, अस्त हो रहे और अस्त हो चुके सूर्य देव को मेरा नमस्कार है. विशेष तेजवान को नमस्कार है, शोभनीय तेज वाले को नमस्कार है तथा उत्तम तेज वाले को नमस्कार है. (२३)
