उदी॑रता॒मव॑र॒उत्परा॑स॒ उन्म॑ध्य॒माः पि॒तरः॑ सो॒म्यासः॑ । असुं॒ य ई॒युर॑वृ॒का ऋ॑त॒ज्ञास्तेनो॑ऽवन्तु पि॒तरो॒ हवे॑षु ॥ (४४)

अवस्था एवं गुणों में श्रेष्ठ, निकृष्ट एवं मध्यम श्रेणी के पितर भी उठें. ये पितर सोम का भक्षण करने वाले है. ये प्राण से उपलक्षित शरीर को प्राप्त होने वाले, अहिंसक और पदार्थ के ज्ञाता हैं. बुलाए जाने पर ये पितर हमारी रक्षा करें. (४४)

In the condition and qualities, the best, the worst and the middle class ancestors should also rise. They are the eaters of Pitar Som. They are the non-violent and knower of matter, which is attained by the body targeted by the soul. Let these fathers protect us when called. (44)
