दे॒वाय॒ज्ञमृ॒तवः॑ कल्पयन्ति ह॒विः पु॑रो॒डाशं॑ स्रु॒चो य॑ज्ञायु॒धानि॑।तेभि॒र्याहि॑ प॒थिभि॑र्देव॒यानै॒र्यैरी॑जा॒नाः स्व॒र्गं य॑न्ति लो॒कम् ॥ (२)

देवगण और वसंत आदि ऋतुएं अनेक प्रकार के यज्ञों की रचना करते हैं. इस यज्ञ में डालने के लिए घृत आदि से बनाए हुए पदार्थों को अग्ने में डालने के लिए चमचे की आकृति के अनेक पात्र बनाते हैं. हे मनुष्य! उन देवयान मार्गो अर्थात्‌ यज्ञ करने की विधियों से तू नित्य प्रति यज्ञ कर. इन देवयान मार्गो से यज्ञ करने वाले जन स्वर्गलोक जाते हैं.
