द्र॒प्सश्च॑स्कन्द पृथि॒वीमनु॒ द्यामि॒मं च॒ योनि॒मनु॒ यश्च॒ पूर्वः॑ । स॑मा॒नंयोनि॒मनु॑ सं॒चर॑न्तं द्र॒प्सं जु॑हो॒म्यनु॑ स॒प्त होत्राः॑ ॥ (२८)

सब को प्रसन्न करने वाला आदित्य सब से पहले का है. यह चराचर जगत्‌ की कारण रूप पृथ्वी पर और द्युलोक में विचरण करता रहता है. तात्पर्य यह है कि आदित्य इन दोनों में व्याप्त है. सब की कारण बनी हुई पृथ्वी संचरण करते हुए हर्ष देने वाले आदित्य को मैं सात होताओं द्वारा सभी दिशाओं में हवि प्रदान करता हूं. Aditya, who pleases everyone, is the first of all. This grazing world continues to move on earth and in the world. The implication is that Aditya pervades both of them. I give happiness to Aditya, who gives happiness while transmitting the earth that is the cause of all, in all directions through seven hotas. (28)
