त्रि॒भिः प॒द्भिर्द्याम॑रोह॒त्पाद॑स्ये॒हाभ॑व॒त्पुनः॑ । तथा॒ व्यक्राम॒द्विष्व॑ङ्ङशनानश॒ने अनु॑ ॥ (२)

यज्ञ के अनुष्ठाता वे नारायण नाम के पुरुष अपने तीन चरणों से स्वर्गलोक पर आरूढ़ हुए. उन का चौथा चरण इस भूलोक में बारबार प्रकट होता है. यह चौथा चरण भोजन करने वाले मनुष्य, पशु आदि और भोजन न करने वाले देव, वृक्ष आदि सभी में व्याप्त है. (२)
