अति॒ निहो॒ अति॒ सृधो ऽत्यचि॑त्ती॒रति॒ द्विषः॑ । विश्वा॒ ह्य॑ग्ने दुरि॒ता तर॒ त्वमथा॒स्मभ्यं॑ स॒हवी॑रं र॒यिं दाः॑ ॥ (५)

हे अग्नि! तुम इंद्रियों के विषयों से उत्पन्न दोषों को, पाप बुद्धि वाले मनुष्यों को, देह का शोषण करने वाले रोगों को एवं हमारे शत्रुओं को समाप्त करो. तुम हमें समस्त पापों से पार करो तथा हमारे लिए पुत्र, पौत्र आदि से युक्त धन प्रदान करो. (५)

O agni! You should eliminate the defects arising from the subjects of the senses, the sins of the intellect, the diseases that exploit the body, and our enemies. May you overcome us from all sins and give us wealth containing sons, grandsons, etc. (5)
