मरु॑तो॒ यस्य॒ हि क्षये॑ पा॒था दि॒वो वि॑महसः । स सु॑गो॒पात॑मो॒ जनः॑ ॥ (२)

हे अतिशय तेज युक्त मरुतो! तुम आकाश से आ कर जिस यजमान की यज्ञशाला में सोमपान करते हो, उस गृह का स्वामी यजमान अपने आश्रितों की रक्षा वालों में श्रेष्ठ बन जाता है. (२)
