अ॒भि त्वा॑ शूर नोनु॒मोऽदु॑ग्धा इव धे॒नवः॑ । ईशा॑नम॒स्य जग॑तः स्व॒र्दृश॒मीशा॑नमिन्द्र त॒स्थुषः॑ ॥ (१)

हे वीर इंद्र! हम तुम्हें उस गौ के समान प्रेरित करते हैं, जिस का दूध दुहा नहीं गया है. तुम संसार के स्वामी तथा स्वर्ग के स्रष्टा हो. (१)
