वाजे॑षु सास॒हिर्भ॑व॒ त्वामी॑महे शतक्रतो । इन्द्र॑ वृ॒त्राय॒ हन्त॑वे ॥ (६)

हे शतक्रतु इंद्र! तुम संग्रामों में शत्रुओं को पराजित करने वाले हो. मैं तुम्हारी स्तुति करता हूं. मैं वृत्र अर्थात्‌ पाप के नाश के लिए तुम्हारी स्तुति करता हूं. (६)

O Hundred and Indra! You are the one who defeats the enemies in the battles. I praise you. I praise you for the destruction of sin. (6)
