मि॒त्रश्च॒ वरु॑ण॒श्चेन्द्रो॑ रु॒द्रश्च॑ चेततुः । दे॒वासो॑ वि॒श्वधा॑यस॒स्ते मा॑ञ्जन्तु॒ वर्च॑सा ॥ (२)

दिन के स्वामी इंद्र, रात्रि के स्वामी वरुण, स्वर्ग के अधिपति इंद्र और सब का संहार करने वाले रुद्र मुझे अनुग्रह करने योग्य समझें. सारे संसार का पोषण करने वाले मित्र आदि देव मुझे तेजस्वी बनाएं. (२)
