प्र यो ज॒ज्ञे वि॒द्वान॑स्य॒ बन्धु॒र्विश्वा॑ दे॒वानां॒ जनि॑मा विवक्ति । ब्रह्म॒ ब्रह्म॑ण॒ उज्ज॑भार॒ मध्या॑न्नी॒चैरु॒च्चैः स्व॒धा अ॒भि प्र त॑स्थौ ॥ (३)

इस प्रपंच के कारण, हितकारी एवं निरावरण ज्ञान से सारे जगत्‌ को जानते हुए जो देव सर्वप्रथम उत्पन्न हुए, वे इंद्र आदि सभी देवों के जन्मों का वर्णन करते हैं. प्रथम उत्पन्न देव ने सब के कारण रूप ब्रह्म के मध्य भाग से, नीचे वाले भाग से और ऊपर वाले भाग से वेदों का उद्धार किया. इस के पश्चात देवों को हवि के रूप में अन्न मिला. Due to this prapancha, the gods who were born first, knowing the whole world with beneficial and niravaran knowledge, describe the births of all the gods like Indra etc. The first born God saved the Vedas from the middle part of Brahman, from the lower part and from the upper part. After this, the devas got food in the form of havi. (3)
