नू॒नं तद॑स्य का॒व्यो हि॑नोति म॒हो दे॒वस्य॑ पू॒र्व्यस्य॒ धाम॑ । ए॒ष ज॑ज्ञे ब॒हुभिः॑ सा॒कमि॒त्था पूर्वे॒ अर्धे॒ विषि॑ते स॒सन्नु ॥ (६)

ऋत्विजों का यज्ञ इस दिखाई न देने वाले और सब से पहले उत्पन्न सूर्य देव का मंडल निश्चय ही सब को प्रेरणा देता है. यह सूर्य हजारों किरणों के साथ इस प्रकार पूर्व दिशा में प्रकट होता है कि इन्हें हवि लक्षण अन्न शीघ्र प्राप्त हो जाता है. (६)
