सं॑वत्स॒रं श॑शया॒ना ब्रा॑ह्म॒णा व्र॑तचा॒रिणः॑ । वाचं॑ प॒र्जन्य॑जिन्वितां॒ प्र म॒ण्डूका॑ अवादिषुः ॥ (१३)

एक वर्ष तक सोए रहने वाले मेढक वर्ष के अंत में वर्षा के जल से जागृत हो कर व्रतचारी ब्राह्मणों के समान पर्जन्य को प्रसन्न करने वाली वाणी बोलते हैं. (१३)
