यत्सं॒यमो॒ न वि य॑मो॒ वि य॑मो॒ यन्न सं॒यमः॑ । इ॑न्द्र॒जाः सो॑म॒जा आ॑थर्व॒णम॑सि व्याघ्र॒जम्भ॑नम् ॥ (७)

जहां मंत्र के सामर्थ्य से इंद्र और सोम से संबंधित संयमन कभी विपरीत प्रभाव नहीं डालता. हे क्रियाकलाप! तू अथर्वा महर्षि द्वारा दिया हुआ है, इसलिए तू बाघ आदि दुष्ट प्राणियों का हिंसक बन. (७)
