त्वष्टा॑ मे॒ दैव्यं॒ वचः॑ प॒र्जन्यो॒ ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पतिः॑ । पु॒त्रैर्भ्रातृ॑भि॒रदि॑ति॒र्नु पा॑तु नो दु॒ष्टरं॒ त्राय॑माणं॒ सहः॑ ॥ (१)

त्वष्टा एवं ब्रह्मणस्पति अर्थात्‌ इस मंत्र के अधिपतिदेव मेरे स्तुति लक्षण वचनों को सुनें. अदिति अपने पुत्रों और भ्राताओं के साथ हमारे रक्षक एवं शत्रुओं द्वारा अतिक्रमण रहित बल की शीघ्र रक्षा करें. (१)
