उ॒र्ध्वा यस्या॒मति॒र्भा अदि॑द्युत॒त्सवी॑मनि । हिर॑ण्यपाणिरमिमीत सु॒क्रतुः॑ कृ॒पात्स्वः ॥ (२)

जिन सविता देव की व्याप्त करने वाली दीप्ति उत्कृष्ट है तथा सारे जगत्‌ को प्रकाशित करती है उन की आज्ञा होने पर शोभन कर्म वाले ब्रह्मा हाथ में सोना ले कर कल्पना के द्वारा सुख देने वाले सोम का निर्माण करते हैं. (२)

On the orders of Savita Dev, whose pervading glow is excellent and illuminates the whole world, Brahma, who is doing shobhan karma, takes gold in his hand and creates soma, which gives happiness through imagination. (2)
