इन्द्रः॑ सु॒त्रामा॒ स्ववाँ॒ अवो॑भिः सुमृडी॒को भ॑वतु वि॒श्ववे॑दाः । बाध॑तां॒ द्वेषो॒ अभ॑यं नः कृणोतु सु॒वीर्य॑स्य॒ पत॑यः स्याम ॥ (१)

भली प्रकार रक्षा करने वाले एवं धन के स्वामी इंद्र अपने रक्षा साधनों से हमें सभी प्रकार सुखी बनाएं. वह इंद्र हमें अभय प्रदान करें तथा हम शोभन शक्ति वाले धन के स्वामी बनें. (१)
