यौ ते॑ मा॒तोन्म॒मार्ज॑ जा॒तायाः॑ पति॒वेद॑नौ । दु॒र्णामा॒ तत्र॒ मा गृ॑धद॒लिंश॑ उ॒त व॒त्सपः॑ ॥ (१)

हे गर्भिणी! तेरे जन्म लेने के समय तेरी माता ने पति को प्राप्त होने वाले जो दुर्नाम और सुनाम नामक दो उन्मार्जन किए थे, उन में त्वचा के दोष से सुगंधित दुर्नाम तेरी इच्छा न करे अर्थात्‌ तुझे प्राप्त न हो तथा अलीश एवं वत्सप नामक रोग भी तुझे न हों. (१)
