स सू॒नुभि॒र्न रु॒द्रेभि॒रृभ्वा॑ नृ॒षाह्ये॑ सास॒ह्वाँ अ॒मित्रा॑न् । सनी॑ळेभिः श्रव॒स्या॑नि॒ तूर्व॑न्म॒रुत्वा॑न्नो भव॒त्विन्द्र॑ ऊ॒ती ॥ (५)

जो रुद्रपुत्र मरुतों की सहायता से महान्‌ बनकर संग्राम में मनुष्यों के शत्रुओं को पराजित करते हैं एवं अपने सहवासी मरुतों की सहायता से अन्न के कारण जल को बादलों से नीचे गिराते हैं, वे इंद्र मरुतों के सहयोग से हमारे रक्षक बनें. (५)
