स जा॒तूभ॑र्मा श्र॒द्दधा॑न॒ ओजः॒ पुरो॑ विभि॒न्दन्न॑चर॒द्वि दासीः॑ । वि॒द्वान्व॑ज्रि॒न्दस्य॑वे हे॒तिम॒स्यार्यं॒ सहो॑ वर्धया द्यु॒म्नमि॑न्द्र ॥ (३)

वज्रायुध एवं शक्तिसाध्य कार्य में श्रद्धा रखने वाले इंद्र ने दस्युओं के नगरों का विनाश करके विविध गमन किया था. हे वज्रधारी! हमारी स्तुतियों को समझते हुए तुम हमारे शत्रुओं पर आयुध छोड़ो एवं स्तुतिकर्तताओं का बल तथा यश बढ़ाओ. (३)
