याव॑दि॒दं भुव॑नं॒ विश्व॒मस्त्यु॑रु॒व्यचा॑ वरि॒मता॑ गभी॒रम् । तावा॑ँ अ॒यं पात॑वे॒ सोमो॑ अ॒स्त्वर॑मिन्द्राग्नी॒ मन॑से यु॒वभ्या॑म् ॥ (२)

हे इंद्र और अग्नि! सर्वव्यापक एवं अपने गौरव से गंभीरतायुक्त जो समस्त संसार का परिमाण है, वही सोम तुम दोनों के पीने के लिए एवं मन संतोष के लिए पर्याप्त हो. (२)
