प्र च॑र्ष॒णिभ्यः॑ पृतना॒हवे॑षु॒ प्र पृ॑थि॒व्या रि॑रिचाथे दि॒वश्च॑ । प्र सिन्धु॑भ्यः॒ प्र गि॒रिभ्यो॑ महि॒त्वा प्रेन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ विश्वा॒ भुव॒नात्य॒न्या ॥ (६)

हे इंद्र और अग्नि! संग्रामों में रक्षा के उद्देश्य से बुलाए जाने पर तुम सभी मनुष्यों की अपेक्षा महान्‌ बनते हो. तुम धरती, आकाश, नदी एवं पर्वतों की अपेक्षा महान्‌ बनते हो. तुम समस्त विश्व की अपेक्षा महान्‌ हो. (६)

O Indra and Agni! When you are called for the purpose of defense in battles, you become greater than all human beings. You are greater than the earth, the sky, the river and the mountains. You are greater than the whole world. (6)
