याभिः॒ पठ॑र्वा॒ जठ॑रस्य म॒ज्मना॒ग्निर्नादी॑देच्चि॒त इ॒द्धो अज्म॒न्ना । याभिः॒ शर्या॑त॒मव॑थो महाध॒ने ताभि॑रू॒ षु ऊ॒तिभि॑रश्वि॒ना ग॑तम् ॥ (१७)

हे अश्चिनीकुमारो! जिन उपायों द्वारा पठर्वा ऋषि शरीर बल पाकर संग्राम में उसी प्रकार दीप्त हुए, जिस प्रकार काष्ठों द्वारा जलाई गई अग्नि चमकती है. जिन उपायों से युद्ध में शर्यात की रक्षा की गई, उन्हीं उपायों के साथ आओ. (१७)

O aschinikumaro! The measures by which the sages of Patharva attained the strength of the body and became absorbed in the struggle in the same way as the fire lit by the woods shines. Come up with the same measures by which the Shariaat was protected in the war. (17)
