आ॒रे ते॑ गो॒घ्नमु॒त पू॑रुष॒घ्नं क्षय॑द्वीर सु॒म्नम॒स्मे ते॑ अस्तु । मृ॒ळा च॑ नो॒ अधि॑ च ब्रूहि दे॒वाधा॑ च नः॒ शर्म॑ यच्छ द्वि॒बर्हाः॑ ॥ (१०)

हे वीरनाशक रुद्र! गोहनन एवं मनुष्य हनन का साधन तुम्हारा आयुध हमसे दूर रहे. हमारे पास तुम्हारा दिया सुख रहे. हमें सुखी करो एवं हमारे प्रति पक्षपात रखने वाले वचन बोलो. तुम धरती और आकाश के स्वामी बनकर हमें सुख दो. (१०)

O Heroic Rudra! Your weapon should be away from us as a means of gohnan and human abuse. May we have the happiness given to you. Make us happy and speak words that are biased towards us. May you become the masters of the earth and the sky and give us happiness. (10)
