ताँ उ॑श॒तो वि बो॑धय॒ यद॑ग्ने॒ यासि॑ दू॒त्य॑म् । दे॒वैरा स॑त्सि ब॒र्हिषि॑ ॥ (४)

हे अग्नि! तुम देवों का दूतकर्म करते हो, इसलिए हव्य की अभिलाषा करने वाले देवों को बुलाओ एवं उनके साथ बिछे हुए कुशों पर बैठो. (४)

O fire! You do the messengers of the gods, so call the gods who desire to have the desire of heaven and sit on the kushas that are laid with them. (4)
