अध॒ प्र ज॑ज्ञे त॒रणि॑र्ममत्तु॒ प्र रो॑च्य॒स्या उ॒षसो॒ न सूरः॑ । इन्दु॒र्येभि॒राष्ट॒ स्वेदु॑हव्यैः स्रु॒वेण॑ सि॒ञ्चञ्ज॒रणा॒भि धाम॑ ॥ (६)

उषा के समीपवर्ती सूर्य के समान चमकते हुए शत्रुविजयी इंद्र इस समय प्रकट हुए हैं. वे हमें प्रसन्न बनावें. हम भी स्तुतिपात्र सोमरस को खुच से यज्ञस्थल में छिड़कते हुए पीते हैं. (६)
