अ॒ष्टा म॒हो दि॒व आदो॒ हरी॑ इ॒ह द्यु॑म्ना॒साह॑म॒भि यो॑धा॒न उत्स॑म् । हरिं॒ यत्ते॑ म॒न्दिनं॑ दु॒क्षन्वृ॒धे गोर॑भस॒मद्रि॑भिर्वा॒ताप्य॑म् ॥ (८)

जब ऋत्विज्‌ तुम्हारी बुद्धि के लिए मनोहर, मादक, बलकारी, एवं उपभोग योग्य सोमरस को पत्थरों की सहायता से निचोड़ें, तब तुम अपने हर्षदाता एवं सोमरस का भोग करने वाले दोनों घोड़ों को इस यज्ञ में सोम पिलाओ एवं हमारे धन का अपहरण करने वाले शज्रुओं को हराओ. (८)
