अश्वा॑वती॒र्गोम॑तीर्वि॒श्ववा॑रा॒ यत॑माना र॒श्मिभिः॒ सूर्य॑स्य । परा॑ च॒ यन्ति॒ पुन॒रा च॑ यन्ति भ॒द्रा नाम॒ वह॑माना उ॒षासः॑ ॥ (१२)

उषा देवियां अश्वों एवं गायों से संपन्न एवं सभी कालों में रहने वाली हैं. वे सूर्य की किरणों के साथ नित्य ही अंधकार का नाश करने का प्रयत्न करती हैं. वे सबके अनुकूल होने के कारण कल्याणकर नाम धारण करके आती-जाती हैं. (१२)

Usha Devis is endowed with horses and cows and lives in all the times. They try to destroy darkness with the rays of the sun. They come and go wearing the name kalyankar because they are friendly to everyone. (12)
