गार्ह॑पत्येन सन्त्य ऋ॒तुना॑ यज्ञ॒नीर॑सि । दे॒वान्दे॑वय॒ते य॑ज ॥ (१२)

हे अग्नि! तुम ऋतुओं के साथ-साथ गार्हपत्य यज्ञ को भी रक्षित करते हो. तुम देवसेवक यजमान के कल्याण के लिए देवों की पूजा करो. (१२)

O fire! You preserve the seasons as well as the Garhapatya yajna. Worship the gods for the welfare of the devasevak host. (12)
