आ वां॑ मित्रावरुणा ह॒व्यजु॑ष्टिं॒ नम॑सा देवा॒वव॑सा ववृत्याम् । अ॒स्माकं॒ ब्रह्म॒ पृत॑नासु सह्या अ॒स्माकं॑ वृ॒ष्टिर्दि॒व्या सु॑पा॒रा ॥ (७)

हे मित्र और वरुण देवो! मैं अपनी रक्षा के निमित्त तुम्हारे प्रति नमस्कारयुक्त स्तोत्र से हव्य देने का प्रयत्न करूंगा. हमारा यह यज्ञकर्म युद्ध में शत्रुओं को हरावे एवं दिव्यवर्षा हमारा उद्धार करे. (७)
