भवा॑ मि॒त्रो न शेव्यो॑ घृ॒तासु॑ति॒र्विभू॑तद्युम्न एव॒या उ॑ स॒प्रथाः॑ । अधा॑ ते विष्णो वि॒दुषा॑ चि॒दर्ध्यः॒ स्तोमो॑ य॒ज्ञश्च॒ राध्यो॑ ह॒विष्म॑ता ॥ (१)

हे विष्णु! तुम मित्र के समान सुखकर्ता, घृत की आहुति के पात्र, अधिक अन्नयुक्त, रक्षणकर्ता एवं सबसे अधिक स्वस्थ हो, इसलिए तुम्हारी स्तुतियां ज्ञानी यजमानों द्वारा बार- बार वृद्धि करने योग्य हैं. तुम्हारा यज्ञ हव्यसंपन्न यजमान द्वारा पूर्ण करने योग्य है. (१)

O Vishnu! You are as pleasant as a friend, the worthy of the sacrifice of the enemy, the more grained, the protector, and the healthiest, so your praises are worthy of being increased again and again by the wise hosts. Your yajna is complete by the solemn host. (1)
