अ॒यं दे॒वाना॑म॒पसा॑म॒पस्त॑मो॒ यो ज॒जान॒ रोद॑सी वि॒श्वश॑म्भुवा । वि यो म॒मे रज॑सी सुक्रतू॒यया॒जरे॑भिः॒ स्कम्भ॑नेभिः॒ समा॑नृचे ॥ (४)

वे सूर्य देवों एवं कर्मकर्तताओं में अत्यंत श्रेष्ठ हैं. उन्होंने प्राणियों को सभी प्रकार से सुख देने वाले धरती और आकाश को उत्पन्न एवं शोभन कर्म की इच्छा से दोनों को विभक्त करके मजबूत खूंटों द्वारा स्थिर किया है. (४)
