यदश्वा॑य॒ वास॑ उपस्तृ॒णन्त्य॑धीवा॒सं या हिर॑ण्यान्यस्मै । सं॒दान॒मर्व॑न्तं॒ पड्बी॑शं प्रि॒या दे॒वेष्वा या॑मयन्ति ॥ (१६)

बलि के लिए नियत अश्व को ढकने के लिए जो वस्त्र फैलाया जाता है, जिन स्वर्णाभूषणों से घोड़े को सजाया जाता है एवं जिन साधनों से घोड़े के पैर एवं गरदन बांधी जाती है, उन सब देवप्रिय वस्तुओं को ऋत्विज्‌ देवों को दें. (१६)

To cover the horse destined for sacrifice, the clothes that are spread, the gold ornaments with which the horse is decorated and the means by which the feet and neck of the horse are tied, give all the god-loving items to the Ritvij devas. (16)
