य॒मेन॑ द॒त्तं त्रि॒त ए॑नमायुन॒गिन्द्र॑ एणं प्रथ॒मो अध्य॑तिष्ठत् । ग॒न्ध॒र्वो अ॑स्य रश॒नाम॑गृभ्णा॒त्सूरा॒दश्वं॑ वसवो॒ निर॑तष्ट ॥ (२)

नियामक अग्नि के दिए हुए अश्व को पृथ्वी आदि तीन स्थानों में वर्तमान वायु ने रथ में जोड़ा. इस रथ पर सबसे पहले इंद्र सवार हुए एवं गंधर्वो ने उसकी लगाम को पकड़ा. वसुओं ने सूर्य से अश्च को प्राप्त किया. (२)
