पञ्च॑पादं पि॒तरं॒ द्वाद॑शाकृतिं दि॒व आ॑हुः॒ परे॒ अर्धे॑ पुरी॒षिण॑म् । अथे॒मे अ॒न्य उप॑रे विचक्ष॒णं स॒प्तच॑क्रे॒ षळ॑र आहु॒रर्पि॑तम् ॥ (१२)

त्ऋतुओं रूपी पांच चरणों और मासों रूपी बारह आकृतियों वाले आदित्य आकाश के परवर्ती अर्द्धभाग में रहते हैं. कुछ लोग उन्हें जलदाता भी कहते हैं. छ: अरों और सात चक्रों (ऋतुओं एवं किरणों) वाले रथ पर बैठे हुए तेजस्वी आदित्य को कुछ लोग अर्पित भी कहते हैं. ये अर्पित आकाश के दूसरे भाग में रहते हैं. (१२)

The Adityas with the five feet of the three phases and the twelve figures of the months reside in the latter half of the sky. Some people also call him Jaldata. Some people also call Tejashwi Aditya sitting on a chariot with six arrows and seven chakras (seasons and rays). These divines live in the other part of the sky. (12)
