स॒प्तार्ध॑ग॒र्भा भुव॑नस्य॒ रेतो॒ विष्णो॑स्तिष्ठन्ति प्र॒दिशा॒ विध॑र्मणि । ते धी॒तिभि॒र्मन॑सा॒ ते वि॑प॒श्चितः॑ परि॒भुवः॒ परि॑ भवन्ति वि॒श्वतः॑ ॥ (३६)

सात किरणें आधे वर्ष तक जलरूप गर्भ को धारण करती हुई जगत्‌ का वीर्य बनकर विष्णु के जगत्‌धारणरूप कार्य में स्थित होती हैं. ज्ञानयुक्त एवं सब ओर जाने वाली वे किरणें जगत्‌ का उपकार करने की बुद्धि से चारों ओर से संसार को घेरे हैं. (३६)

English

The seven rays are located in the world's work of holding water for half a year, becoming the semen of the world. Those rays of knowledge and going all around surround the world with the wisdom of doing good to the world. (36)
